How It Works
This calculator helps you find horsepower (HP) based on the following formulas:
- Torque & RPM: HP = (Torque × RPM) / 5252
- Vehicle Weight & Speed (1/4 mile): HP = Weight × (Speed/234)3
- Elapsed Time (ET) & Weight: HP = Weight / (ET / 5.825)3
Units can be switched using the dropdowns next to each input. Torque can be in lb-ft or Nm, weight in lbs or kg, speed in mph or km/h, and HP output toggles between Horsepower and Kilowatts.
